The term autodidactism has its roots from Ancient Greek words autós (Meaning “self”) and
didaktikos (meaning”teaching”). Teaching oneself is the idea behind Autodidactism.
It’s self-education, without the guidance or instruction from a teacher or a professor in schools
and colleges. An autodidact is someone who pursues education with exceptional enthusiasm
and fervor but has no assistance from his or her teachers/ educators. An autodidact chooses a
subject to study, then gather the information regarding each topics of that subject and allot
schedules and breaks to learn all the topics till satisfaction. An autodidact may or may not have
school education. A student who pursues formal education could be an autodidact. A child not
having a formal education can implement Autodidactism to replace teachers. There is no
better method of teaching than Autodidactism because one gets to know where he or she is
wrong and learn from those mistakes.
Autodidactic method of learning has been partially or fully incorporated in modern day digital
language labs. For example, in Zybro Digital Language Lab there are two consoles, one for
students and the other for teachers. Students console is endowed with so many features as
                follows.
